Bannerghatta and other National Park Entry fees raised.
|
Forest Department has decided to raise the entry fee to the National park from Rs. 40 to Rs. 200/- effecting from Feb 1. This will be hard to believe as this one of the best place to spend weekend in the city.
With the increase in the entry fee, Bangaloreans will need to find out a new way of spending their weekend, without wildlife and safari. There is also ban on Trekking inside the park.
The fees collected from the entry fee will used for tiger conserves and providing basic amenities to tourist visiting the park.
However, it is not only Bannerghatta national park which has seen the price rise, this has been implemented in all the national park across the state.
