BBMP Election gets a Nod from Supreme Court

Supreme Court clears all road block and ask Government to go election for BBMP on schedule.

The BBMP now has sigh of relief with Supreme court clears the way for BBMP election to be held as per schedule or planned on Feb 21st. Its time for all Bangaloreans to pull up their voting card.

Government is going to honour the order of Supreme court. The orders and respective arrangement for election to be held as planned on the scheduled date as declared in July 21, 2009 notification.

The election event calendar is as follows with the wait for stay period from December 18 t0 Jan 4.

Last Date for Filling Nominations	March 15th
Scrutiny of Nominations	March 17th
Last Date for withdrawal of Nominations	March 19th
Date of Polling	March 28th
If Re-polling needed	April 4th
Counting of Votes	April 5th
Date before process completion	April 6th
Code of Condut	March 3 - April 6th
