KMF hikes Milk prices by around 3 Rs


Milk price in karnataka and bangalore hiked by rs 3. Bangaloreans had to pay Rs 3 more for milk from Monday

In the latest twist to the common man the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) chairman G Somashekhara Reddy told that it has hiked the milk prices by around Rs 3. This is the latest wrath of the government after the water price hike. People from Bangalore now have to pay Rs 3 more for milk from today.

The New prices are in effect from today.

Milk unions of Southern Karnataka — Bangalore, Kolar, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Hassan, Shimoga and Mother Dairy hike milk price.

Nandini toned milk will clost Rs 19 per liter from the previous Rs 16.
Homogenised cow milk will cost Rs 22 per litre
Standarized milk will cost Rs 24 per litre
Full cream milk will cost Rs 26 per litre
Double toned milk will cost Rs 18 per litre
Curds will cost Rs 24 per kg


Northern Karnataka milk unions in Raichur-Bellary, Dharwad, Bijapur, Dakshina Kannada, Belgaum milk unions hike prices.

Owing to transportation Toned milk will cost Rs 20 per litre and all other prices remain the same.
