Photography Summer Workshops 2010, Bangalore

The well known arts centre Active Canvas is organizing a variety of photography workshops for children and adults in Bangalore.

A. Intermediate photography & Day trip to Melkote, Bangalore

Dates: (i) 24th April 2010 (Saturday) - Trip to Melkote (Full day); (ii) 25th April 2010 (Sunday between 11.00 a.m. & 1.00 p.m) - Review session
Note: Last date to register is 20th April,2010.

No. of participants: 15

Fee: Rs.3000/- + service tax of 10.3%. Apart from the training, the fee includes food & beverages as well as to & fro transportation.

Features: This workshop is for those with an SLR/DSLR and who wish to learn advanced techniques of Photography. The workshop also includes a photowalk to the temple town of Melkote overlooking the Cauvery valley (it is approx. 130 kms from Bangalore). Participants will learn how to handle the camera and various techniques as they explore Melkote. A review session on the following Saturday will then be held.

B. Active Eyes - Photography Workshop & Photo Walk, Bangalore

Features: Those who own a DLSR/Digital Camera can learn the artistic and technical aspects n photography. The workshop also includes a 2 hour outdoor photo walk in Bangalore.

(ii) For adults (16 and above ) : 8th & 9th May 2010
Last Date for enrolment: 3rd May 2010

Time: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Fee: Rs.1200/- + service tax of 10.3%
