I am posting some questions which are very frequent in an interview. Some of these are really very very popular. The most popular question is : "Tell Me about yourself". This is a very common question in an interview and decides the course of you interview.

Interviewers ask lot of questions. Some questions are comforting, and some or unrelated sometimes absurd too. I heard people answer questions like,tell me what is the length of 23 coach train? Or who is the husband of shivaji?- I mean someone asked it.

Some of them are to lighten the moment and some for testing the speed of the switch in you.

You may joke them off. But the more serious questions will be looking something like the ones below. you have to choose to answer appropriately.

I have collected for preparing for my interview. This may help you too.

· Tell me about yourself. : This Question is normally first question and will set the direction for your interview.

·What are your strengths? : From this the interviewer wants to know what do you kno about yourself. Be careful not to boast too much.

·What are your weaknesses? : The answer for this cannot be "NIL". if you say "NIL" you are in the trap.

·Who was your favorite manager and why? : The catch word is "why" in this

·Where would you like to be in your career five years from now? :be realistic in answering this question

·Why do you want this job? : This is to know your keenness

·Tell me about your proudest achievement. : Trick question . Respond appropriately. Dont list the minor things . I look for you expectations on yourself by asking this

·How would you feel about working for someone who knows less than you? : Don't get in to trap here. he is looking at your relationships with your boss

·Was there a person in your career who really made a difference? : Be honest . Give credits to people who really matter.

·Why do you want to work for this company? : Be specific on this.

·What are you looking for in terms of career development? : Try to match what the company can provide. Dont say moon

·Give examples of ideas you've had or implemented. : Boasting is strict No here.

·How would you describe your work style? : Dont say I am a workaholic if you are not. he might be your boss tomorrow.

·Tell me about a time where you had to deal with conflict on the job.

·What's the last book you read? :

·What would be your ideal working situation?Try to match what the company can provide. Dont say moon

·Why should we hire you? : List the advantages but not too much. give your measurable achievements

·What did you like least about your last job? OR ·What did you like most/hate in in your previous organization/job?: There may be similar things in the new job too. your research should help you.

·What do you think of your previous boss? : Cursing is Strict "NO ' here

·How do you think I rate as an interviewer? : Judge yourself based on what you spoke till now.

·When were you most satisfied in your job?

·What can you do for us that others can't? : Same as Why should we hire you?

·What are three Adjectives your last boss would say about you? : be truthful. There are background checks

·Three adjectives your juniors say about you?

·What salary are you seeking? : Avoid answering this question. You may answer this with a question like what is on offer.

·What were the responsibilities of your last position? : Remember that the interviewer has your resume in his hand.

·What do you know about this industry?/What do you know about our company? : do your research before you are int he hot seat·

·Are you willing to relocate? :

·What kind of goals would you have in mind if you got this job?

·Have you ever been on a team where someone was not pulling their own weight? How did you handle it?

·Tell me about a time when you had to give someone difficult feedback. What is your greatest failure, and what did you learn from it?

·What irritates you about other people, and how do you deal with it?

·What is your greatest fear?

Who has impacted you most in your career, and how?

·What do you see yourself doing within the first 30 days of this job?

·What three character traits would your friends use to describe you?

·What will you miss about your present/last job?

·List five words that describe your character.

·What is your greatest achievement outside of work?

·Sell me this pencil.

·If I were your supervisor and asked you to do something that you disagreed with, what would you do?

·Do you think a leader should be feared or liked?

·What's the most difficult decision you've made in the last two years?

·Why are you leaving your present job?

·How do you feel about taking no for an answer?

·What was the most difficult period in your life, and how did you deal with it?

·What is your favorite memory from childhood?

·Give me an example of a time you did something wrong. How did you handle it?

·Tell me one thing about yourself you wouldn't want me to know.

·Why did you choose your specialization?

·What is your biggest regret, and why?

·What irritates you about other people, and how do you deal with it?

·If you found out your company was doing something against the law, like fraud, what would you do?

· What assignment was too difficult for you, and how did you resolve the issue?

·Describe how you would handle a situation if you were required to finish multiple tasks by the end of the day, and there was no conceivable way that you could finish them.

·How organized are you?

·If selected for this position, can you describe your strategy for the first 90 days?

·Do you have any questions for me?
