Programme on summery revision of electoral rolls
Electoral Rolls of all the constituencies in the state are being revised with reference to 01.01.2011 as qualifying date.
The Election Commission of India is taken up this and the enrollment of voters, changes etc can be done now.
The Draft Electoral rolls are published and available to view on the election commission's website.

To register as a voter you need to fulfill the following conditions.
1. You should be of 18 years of age as on 01.01.2011
2. You should not be disqualified otherwise.
To Enroll Yourself
Visit the polling station, Gram Panchayat, or the office of the concerned Tehasildar/Assistant Commissioner/ City Corporations/Mahanagarpalike During working hours on all days Between 10.11.2010 to 25.11.2010 and submit the prescribed application form duly filled in, Along with Documents supporting the proof of Age, Address of residence in the assembly constituency limits.
You can also submit filled up forms for correction of details if you are already enrolled or for deletion of names of those personnel who are dead.
14.11.2010 (Sunday) and 21.11.2010 (Sunday) are Special Campaign dates and the applications will be received from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
Details of Forms to be filled are as follows
Form - 6 :
For Inclusion of name for the first time OR for Inclusion of Missing Name OR for inclusion of name in the new constituency for the persons who have shifted from a different constituency.Form - 7 :
For Seeking deletion of name in the existing roll for Eg : Dead personsForm - 8 :
For correction of any of the particulars in the existing rollForm - 8A :
For transposition of name from one part of the assembly constituency to another place within the same constituency.These forms can be downloaded from
