Aero Show 2011 is going to start on Feb 9 and will be open for public 1 hour before the show begins. Government has guidelines some rules and security check which will be needed to follow all the people attending the Aero Show this year in Bangalore.
Aero Show Timings for Visitors:
There will be 2 shows every day for all 10:00 am – 5:00 pm every day. The first day there will be only be one show.
Feb 9 : 2 pm to 5 pm
Feb 10: 10:00 am to 5pm
Feb 11: 10:00 am to 5pm
Feb 12: 10:00 am to 5pm
Feb 13: 10:00 am to 5pm
Guidelines to be followed during Aero Show 2011
Gates will open 1 hours before the show start time.
Person will need to carry a valid photo id card with him
Everyone will undergo security check before entering the venue
Tickets once purchased cannot transferred or refunded
No food items, fire arms, weapons, knives , toy weapons, laser pointers, bags, briefcase, handbags or any packets will not be allowed.
Free entry for children below 4 years.
Transport during Aero Show 2011
BMTC has deployed 150 buses across the to the Aero Show venue and there are parking space also available at the venue.
Traffic Diversion during Aero Show 2011
Take the Hennur and Nagavara crosses to join Bagalur.
Try to avoid the main road to the venue
From Whitefield you can take NH207 and reach directly to Devanahalli.
BIA cabs have been asked to keep off on the main road. Vayu Vajra will have dedicated lane. Heavy vehicle will be banned and will have to travel to NH207 toward Old Madras Road.

F-16 pilot on board Shahid Kapur on Feb 12
Shahid Kapur will be main attraction apart from the planes as he is going to fly F-16 at the Aero Show in Bangalore on Feb 12. He will need to pass the simulation test, which is equal to flying the F-16 aircraft.
This Aero show you will see Civil aircrafts on display, which may also steal the show. As many corporates and personlaities are looking out for buying personal charter flights.

Air India has decided to reschedule the Flight timings
Flight IC No 109 : 10:20 am Mumbai depart and arrive Bangalore at 12:10pm.
IC 610 : Depart from Bangalore at 5:50pm and reach Mumbai at 7:25pm
IC 977 - Leave Bangalore at 5:05pm and reach Hyderabad at 6:00 pm
IC 909 - Leave Chennai - 9:00 am - leave bangalore at 9:45 pm and reach Thiruvanthapuram at 10:45 pm

International Flights reschedule by Air India
IC965 to Male: depart from Bangalore at 12:05 and reach Male at 1:25 (local time).
IC966 to Bangalore - depart from Male at 2:25 local time and reach Bangalore at 5:05 pm.
IC593 : Goa - Dubai: depart from Bangalore at 5:10 pm.
