Notification of Christ University admission 2011 for MA in Sociology

It is informed to you that Christ University has invites an application for admission in MA in Sociology . The eligibility criteria,syllabus,fee structure application procedure and how to apply for admission in Christ University is as given below:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Only those candidates are eligible for admission in MA in Sociology who have secured 50% in the aggregate of all subjects in the qualifying University examinations.

FEE STRUCTURE:

The fee structure for MA in Sociology is as given below:
For 1st year

Karnatka -29000 INR
TN/KE/GOA/AP -39000 INR
OtherState -39000 INR
NRI -56000 INR
SAARC/AFRICA -1800 USD
Other Foreign Nationals -2600 USD

For 2nd year

Karnatka -29000 INR
TN/KE/GOA/AP -29000 INR
OtherState -29000 INR
NRI -56000 INR
SAARC/AFRICA -1800 USD
Other Foreign Nationals -2600 USD

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1) It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for 2 years, there will be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.

2) The Management/University does not collect any type of capitation/Donation other than the fee mentioned above.

3) Fees should be paid within 3 days of declaration of results for the first year and before the commencement of final examinations of 2nd semester for the second year.

HOW TO APPLY:

Candidate should note that the application fee should be deposited in the form of DD(Demand Draft)on adress:"Christ University, Bangalore" payable at "Bangalore".
Application fee for indian students is Rs. 1000/- and for NRI students is 100 USD.
