With new Chief mininster being appointed for the Karnataka State Sadananda Gowda. The new state cabinet ministers and their portfolio have been decided. Get to know more

After all the political drama in the state, BSY steppping down from the Chief minister position and Sadananda Gowda being appointed as new Chief Minister of the state.

There were certain issues in the BSY camps with Shettar group being not happy on the appointed of the Sadananda Gowda, who is favorite of the B S Yeddyurappa. Atlast Shettar group may have compromised on the ministerial portfolio provided to them

Karnataka ministers and their Portfolio:

Sadananda Gowda - Chief Minister - Mines and geology, Forest, DPAR, Revenue, infrastructure, Tourism, Health and family welfare, Youth affairs and sports, Intelligence.

V S Acharaya - Higher Education and muzrai.

Murugesh R Nirani - Large and Medium Industries.

Shobha Karandlaje - Energy and Food Civil Supplies.

Basavaraj Bommai - Water Resources.

Umesh V Katti - Agriculture.

V Somanna - Housing.

CM Udasi - Public Works

MP Renukacharya - Excise

Laxman Savadi - Cooperation

C C Patil - Woman and Child Development

J Krishna Palemar - Ports and Fisheries.

Revunaik Belamagi - Mass Education

Jagadish Shettar - Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.

Govind M Karjol - Kannada and Culture

R Ashoka - Home and Transport

S Suresh Kumar - Law and Urban Development.

S A Ramdas - Medical Education.

B N Bachche Gowda - Labour

Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri - Primary and Secondary Education.

A Narayanaswamy - Social Welfare and Prisons.
