    Gavi Gangadhareshwara temple is the oldest temple in India which is present in cave built in 9th Century. This temple belongs to Lord Shiva a distance of 3-4km from city Market. The belief or history of the temple mention that Rishi Gouthama has offered prayers to lingam in the temple three times.
