    Aircel cell phone service in Bengaluru without changing mobile phone number

    In this article you will get information on Aircel Mobile Number Portability services and plans in Bangalore.


    Thanks to the recently launched Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service in India, you can now change your current mobile service operator to Aircel in Bangalore without changing your current mobile phone number in quick easy steps.

    How to switch existing mobile number to Aircel in Bengaluru



    1. Visit your nearest Aircel store in Bengaluru.

    2. Buy a new Aircel SIM

    3. Fill in the 2 requisite forms: (i) the Customer Enrollment Form (CEF) and (ii) the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) form.

    4. Submit the 2 forms with other required documents to the retailer or at any Aircel store in Bengaluru.

    5. SMS 'Port XXXX (your existing 10 digit mobile number)' to 1900 from your current mobile number.

    6. You will get an 8 digit code through SMS.

    7. Give the 8 digit code to the Bengaluru Aircel retailer or Aircel store executive

    8. Right away you should get an SMS confirming your Port order.

    9. Next, you will get an SMS confirming the date and time of porting. This could take 5 to 7 days.

    10. At the scheduled date and time given to you, you must replace your old SIM with your new Aircel SIM and dial '123'.

    11. Now all you need to do is put in the applicable recharge.

    Now you are all set to enjoy Aircel services on existing mobile number. These include Pocket Apps, PocketInternet, Blyk and many other unique products.
